Bridging Finnish education excellence with localized African implementation.
African Global Education Solutions (AGES) Ltd is a Tanzania-based education solutions and implementation company established by Tanzanian and Finnish education experts to support education transformation across East Africa.
More than an EdTech company — a regional education transformation partner.
AGES is a Tanzania-based education solutions and implementation company established by Tanzanian and Finnish education experts to support education transformation across East Africa.
We bring together Finnish educational expertise, African market knowledge, local institutional relationships, and practical implementation capacity to help governments, schools, universities, TVET institutions, development partners, and private-sector actors design, localize, pilot, and scale education solutions that respond to real African education needs.
We are not only an EdTech company. We are a regional education transformation and implementation partner working across digital learning, practical pedagogy, teacher development, foundational learning, school improvement, student wellbeing, TVET simulation, market entry, and evidence-based implementation.
Many promising education innovations fail because of a missing implementation bridge.
Many education innovations fail because they are not properly localized, not aligned with curriculum realities, not supported after introduction, or not embedded in sustainable institutional models.
AGES exists to close this gap. We help ensure that education innovation is not simply imported, but carefully adapted, implemented, supported, measured, and scaled in partnership with local institutions.
Our model combines technology with strong pedagogy, teacher capacity, practical learning materials, learning-by-doing, school development, student wellbeing, institutional support, and sustainable local implementation.
Locally rooted — not a one-way export.
Many international education companies approach Africa mainly through export: selling products, platforms, or content from outside the market.
AGES takes a different approach. Our strategy is to establish a locally rooted regional company that works close to clients, institutions, learners, teachers, and implementation partners. This enables us to understand local education systems, align with national priorities, provide continuous support, and adapt solutions to real implementation conditions.
Through Finnish partners such as FGES, AGES brings structured solutions including OPPI Finland Global Schools, the OPPI Early Years Programme, FGES Literacy and Numeracy Solutions, Teach Like a Finn!, Lead Like a Finn!, digital learning systems, and practical school transformation support.
Education transformation, anchored in evidence and local presence.
Our Vision
To become a trusted regional education transformation partner supporting equitable, practical, future-ready, and scalable education systems across Africa.
Our Mission
To connect Finnish and global education expertise with African implementation capacity — enabling governments, institutions, teachers, learners, and partners to access practical, localized, and sustainable education solutions.
Our Approach
Digital where appropriate, practical where necessary, teacher-supported, learner-centered, locally grounded, and designed for long-term impact.

A senior team. A local presence. A regional network.
AGES operates from Dar es Salaam with the strategy of being locally present across Tanzania, Kenya, Uganda, and Rwanda — close to clients, institutions, teachers, learners, and implementation partners.
Every engagement is led end-to-end by a senior owner. We don't outsource implementation; we build it — alongside teachers, school leaders, ministries, regulators, and global solution partners.
Five lines that govern every engagement.
Localize before implementing
Education solutions must be adapted to local curriculum, language, infrastructure, policy, culture, teacher capacity, and learner realities before they can succeed.
Digital where appropriate, practical where necessary
We support digital transformation, but meaningful education transformation cannot rely on digital tools alone. It also requires practical materials, play-based learning, classroom interaction, teacher guidance, learning-by-doing, and student wellbeing.
Teachers are central
No education transformation can scale sustainably without teacher confidence, teacher capacity, and continuous professional support.
Evidence before scale
Our feasibility study and market research across Tanzania, Kenya, Uganda, and Rwanda assess institutional readiness, teacher capacity gaps, digital and non-digital demand, practical and competency-based education, connectivity, policy alignment, and partnership models.
Partnership, not one-way export
We work with partners to co-design, localize, implement, and improve solutions. Sustainable education transformation requires shared ownership and long-term commitment.
