The AGES Education Ecosystem

A regional implementation bridge for Finnish, African, and global education solutions.

AGES is not a one-way export channel or a generic vendor list. We curate partners carefully and connect them to real education needs, institutions, territories, and implementation priorities — bringing together Finnish education expertise, African market knowledge, local institutional relationships, practical delivery capacity, digital and non-digital solutions, and evidence generation.

How we curate the network

Three principles govern who we partner with.

Every solution entering the AGES ecosystem has a clear purpose, a relevant implementation pathway, and a realistic opportunity to create measurable education impact.

Principle · 01

We match partners to real needs

AGES selects partners based on real education challenges identified through institutional engagement, feasibility research, market analysis, and field experience across Tanzania, Kenya, Uganda, and Rwanda. We prioritize solutions that respond to curriculum needs, teacher capacity gaps, learner challenges, institutional priorities, practical skills development, connectivity realities, and local implementation conditions.

Principle · 02

Transformation is broader than technology

Meaningful education transformation cannot rely on digital tools alone. AGES looks for partners that combine technology where appropriate with strong pedagogy, teacher capacity, practical learning materials, learning-by-doing, school development, student wellbeing, institutional support, and sustainable local implementation.

Principle · 03

Implementation accountability matters

AGES co-delivers with its partners. We support localization, teacher onboarding, institutional engagement, field coordination, monitoring, feedback, and pathways from pilot to wider adoption. Partners must be ready to adapt, support implementation, and work toward long-term impact rather than one-time product sales.

Ecosystem layers

Five layers. One implementation bridge.

The AGES ecosystem is a model, not a roster. Finnish-inspired school models, early years programmes, foundational literacy and numeracy, teacher and leadership development, digital learning systems, TVET simulation, policy alignment, infrastructure, and evidence all converge through AGES.

Partners and solutions AGES can localize, pilot, and scale.

Through Finnish partners such as FGES and selected digital, simulation-based, mobile learning, and software partners, AGES brings structured solutions including OPPI Finland Global Schools, OPPI Early Years, FGES Literacy and Numeracy Solutions, Teach Like a Finn!, Lead Like a Finn!, Mobie Oy/OnEdu, 3DBear, Corrsy, and Ones & Zeros — matched to specific education needs, institutions, and implementation priorities.

Finland
Finnish Global Education Solutions (FGES)
Solution area
Finnish pedagogy, school development, teacher CPD, literacy & numeracy, leadership, institutional improvement, learning-by-doing
Why it matters

FGES brings Finnish education expertise that strengthens AGES beyond digital tools — practical pedagogy, foundational learning, school improvement, teacher capacity, leadership development, and learning-by-doing approaches. This is especially important for early childhood, preschool, primary education, and institutional transformation.

AGES role
Localization, stakeholder engagement, institutional partnerships, pilot design, teacher onboarding, adaptation to local curriculum, and implementation support across East Africa.
Finland
Mobie Oy / OnEdu
Solution area
Learning experience platforms, digital course creation, AI-supported learning, blended learning, teacher support, institutional learning environments
Why it matters

AGES needs flexible digital learning infrastructure that can support schools, institutions, teachers, and learners through localized content, blended learning, and scalable digital delivery.

AGES role
Curriculum mapping, localization, teacher onboarding, institutional deployment, pilot coordination, monitoring, and pathways to wider adoption.
Finland
3DBear
Solution area
XR, AR, VR, and simulation-based learning for TVET, schools, vocational training, workplace readiness, and practical skills development
Why it matters

Many institutions face challenges in providing practical training because equipment can be expensive, risky, limited, or difficult to access. Simulation-based learning allows learners to practice safely, repeatedly, and interactively.

AGES role
Vocational program design, institutional engagement, instructor training, curriculum alignment, pilot implementation, and outcome monitoring.
Finland
Corrsy
Solution area
Gamified mobile learning, curriculum-aligned content, micro-learning, learner engagement, mobile-first education delivery
Why it matters

Mobile-friendly learning tools can support learners in low-bandwidth environments and extend learning beyond the classroom. Corrsy supports primary and secondary education through engaging, accessible, and scalable digital learning experiences.

AGES role
Curriculum mapping, localization, white-label deployment, school-based and home-based pilots, learner engagement strategy, and evidence generation.
Finland
Ones & Zeros
Solution area
Custom software development, applied AI engineering, platform integration, data tools, and technical implementation support
Why it matters

Education transformation sometimes requires custom tools, integrations, dashboards, AI features, or locally adapted software solutions that cannot be delivered through off-the-shelf platforms alone.

AGES role
Market entry, client introductions, local requirements gathering, co-delivery, platform integration, and applied AI implementation for education partners and institutions.
